Sam’s Place
The first half is sun-filled daylight with the youthful green hills of life as the sweet dogs playfully explore and mingle with butterflies, flowers and birds. Sam sits greeting us with a swallowtail butterfly floating above her head and is sheltered by the benevolent Tree of Life. The tree stands rooted with a loving feminine presence of compassion, protecting the blooming roses for the dogs.
The second half of the mural is the night sky with a cardinal whose song can often be heard at twilight, like a prayer singing to the stars. A white rose bush blooms representing the earthly realm of family and friends in a forever relationship to loved ones who have passed.
The Blue Moon of Cam’s birth is shining and pouring out lovingly over Sam who leans joyfully into reunion with her faithful companion.
