If you’re looking for a dog with a zest for life, Wren is your girl!
Wren is a sweet, happy pup with enough enthusiasm to brighten anyone’s day. She’s affectionate, loves being around people, and has a heart every bit as big as her personality.
Wren still has plenty of energy and approaches life with her signature bouncy enthusiasm, but as she settles in at Sam’s Place, we’re already seeing wonderful progress. She’s making great strides with her impulse control and manners, and you can truly see how hard she tries to make good choices. She’s incredibly smart, eager to learn, and responds well to consistency and positive reinforcement.
And while Wren certainly knows how to play, she knows how to slow down, too! Once she’s gotten some of that energy out, she’s happy to settle in for cuddles and she absolutely loves being brushed. It’s a wonderful glimpse of the calm, affectionate companion underneath all that puppy-like excitement.
Wren doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She’s simply overflowing with joy, affection, and love to give. She loves with her whole heart and keeps us smiling with her playful personality.
Her previous shelter reported that Wren did wonderfully with both dogs and children. We’re continuing our own introductions and evaluations as we learn more about what her ideal home will look like.
Wren is looking for an active family that will embrace her joyful spirit, provide plenty of exercise and enrichment, and continue helping her build on the progress she’s already made. With the right guidance and lots of love, she’s going to be an absolutely incredible companion.
