Meet Twigs, a 7 month old Shih Tzu mix weighing about 14lbs, with a sweet personality and a smile you won’t forget! His little teeth look remarkably like a set of human dentures, and we’re already falling for his silly charm.
Twigs came to Sam’s Place after he and several other dogs, possibly his littermates, were dumped on a property and had to be trapped to bring them to safety. They were terribly matted and frightened, but their sweetness shone through despite everything they had experienced.
Now that Twigs has a soft place to land, he’s already showing us his sweet and silly side. We’re giving him time to settle in, feel safe, and let his personality unfold as we learn more about him and the kind of home where he’ll thrive.
We’ll share more as we get to know this lovable little guy. For now, we’re so grateful his next chapter starts with kindness, comfort, and plenty of reasons to smile.
