Meet Summer! 🏖️🐾
Summer is a beautiful brindle terrier mix around 2 years old and 22 pounds. This sweet girl was found as a stray alongside Taffy and is learning to feel safe and comfortable with the people around her.
Before arriving at Sam’s Place, dedicated volunteers at her previous shelter spent time helping build her confidence. We’re grateful for the patience and kindness they showed her, and we’re continuing that work with gentle encouragement and time to settle in.
Summer is still very shy, but she’s making progress every day. She’ll need a patient family willing to move at her pace and celebrate the little moments as she learns to trust.
Summer and Taffy may be bonded. We’re still getting to know them and will learn more about whether they would do best in a home together as they settle in.
Summer is spayed, and we look forward to sharing more about her personality as she grows comfortable and lets her sweet self shine. 🧡
