Meet Nola, our little ball of sunshine! ☀️🧡
Nola was found as a stray, adopted, and then found as a stray again from the same shelter – all within just a few months. When she was brought in the second time, she had lost a significant amount of weight. We are so thankful she is safe at Sam’s Place, where she is receiving all the love, attention, and care she deserves.
Despite everything she has experienced, Nola still enjoys being around people! She is energetic, playful, curious, and always ready for her next activity. Her attention span may be short, but but she tries hard during training and keeps us smiling while she learns.
Nola especially loves playing tug-of-war. Although, in her version, your role is mostly to hold the toy securely while she does all the tugging! She also enjoys durable toys that can stand up to her enthusiastic play style.
We’ve learned that Nola really does enjoy the company of some dogs and loves having the right canine friend to play with. She can still be selective, so any potential dog sibling would need a thoughtful introduction to make sure their personalities and play styles are compatible.
Nola is looking for a family who will appreciate her busy mind, playful spirit, and wonderfully entertaining personality. After such an uncertain beginning, this sunny girl deserves the stability of a home where she will always know she belongs.
