Freya and her sister, Cricket, were owner surrenders and joined us in January 2026. They were so close to being euthanized and pulled at the last minute. When they arrived, they were terrified and we thought it would take quite some time to gain their trust. After just a few days of slow, gentle approach (and lots of chicken) they have totally transformed. We are still taking our time with them and working on their confidence and comfortability around new people and places. They have not been cat tested, but seem to love playing with our other dogs, though!
