Cricket and her sister, Freya, were owner surrenders and joined us in January 2026. They were so close to being euthanized and pulled at the last minute. When they arrived, they were terrified and we thought it would take quite some time to gain their trust. After just a few days of slow, gentle approach (and lots of chicken) they totally transformed.
We’re so happy that Cricket found an incredible home nearby and that we can still stop by for visits. We didn’t expect to spend as much time as we did with this sweet girl and it was definitely bittersweet to let her go!! We miss you already!
